Aspen Wine Events

After 30 years I have left Aspen
I can no longer offer Aspen Wine Events
at this time.

Turn your next party into an Event
A Wine Event!

Do you live in Aspen?

Are you planning a visit to Aspen?

How would you like to do something special? Some memorable, something different.

Host your own Wine Tasting Party!

Now you can experience some of the same events that have been featured in Food & Wine and Bon Appetit Magazines.

Aspen has long been home to movers and shakers from every walk of life.
And so it is only fitting that it also be where you can find Stephen Reiss, Ph.D. a Certified Wine Educator.

Stephen ReissDr. Reiss has called Aspen home since the late 70s. If you have been around as long as Steve has, you probably tasted his breakfast at the Epicure, or later at his own Breakfast Club (located in Burger Brothers). You may have had him prepare something special when he apprenticed at the Parlor Car, or he may well have turned you on to your favorite wine at The Snowmass Club, Renaissance or The Golden Horn.

Almost all of those establishments have long gone, but Steve is still here in Aspen. He can't be found serving wine in any restaurant anymore, although you are likely to find him teaching the next generation of wine stewards in Asia, Australia or somewhere else around the world.

When Steve Reiss is not globe hopping he is writing about wine. His award winning web site WineEducation.com is one of the oldest, and most respected wine sites on the Web. He followed this success with a Blog, a Newsletter and even, a Book.

"Juice Jargon - How to talk about wine" was written out of Dr. Reiss' experience in teaching the Aspen Wine School for over a decade. Juice Jargon has been hailed by the press as "Perfect for any level Wine Lover" and "A must have book." Juice Jargon makes learning about wine easy and fun. Juice Jargon

And fun is what it is all about.

It is now possible to bring that wine fun into your own home, with a wine tasting party.

Small or large. Casual or intensively technical, Steve can help you put together the perfect gathering.

Aspen Magazine has called Stephen Reiss "Aspen's Wine Guru"
He has been lauded in The Rocky Mt. News because he "Can do no wrong."
